This package contains an authorized rework of Gary Aumaugher's Fokker Dr1 originally made for the Aerocrate project, Martin Klein added new details and made some changes to the texture layout to allow additional details to be incorporated. Textures were done by Huub Vink and include all versions of the Fokker Dr1 flown by Manfred Von Richthofen. Shessi kindly rendered his assistance to improve the behaviour of the typical CFS2 flight model by John Fortin in FS2004. The version in this package was developed exclusively for FS2004, a specific package for CFS2 is also available.
To make flying this model more enjoyable it has brakes and trim. Not fully historical but useful when you want to enjoy the model. The trim is not entirely false as the horizontal stabiliser could be adjusted, but only on the ground.
Please take a few minutes to read the included "Fokker Dr1 for FS2004.pdf" file as it does contain information which will make flying the model easier. It also includes some historic background about the liveries included.
Credits go to those who created the original model and all those who created the specific tools to enable this overhaul.
This package was made as freeware and should remain freeware. The model is done to enjoy and not to be sold.
Enjoy,
Martin Klein & Huub Vink
