FS2004 1948 Cessna 170A The Cessna 170 series was one of the company's most successful post-war efforts; over 5000 were produced. It was a pilot's airplane, although some thought it was slightly underpowered. I had the opportunity to fly a brand new 170A from Bozeman, Montana to Billings, Montana and return in early 1949. It certainly was "more airplane" than the 140's and 120's I usually flew. I would have modeled this plane moons ago, but I never could find decent 3 views. Many thanks to Mick Morrissey for coming up with some that were at least acceptable. This FSDSv2.24 project has alpha channel type reflective textures, moving parts, Nav and Landing lights, and a pilot figure. The panel is loosely based on a photo of a restored 170 panel. A Virtual Cockpit with working gauges is included. This project was compiled directly into FS2004 and I have no means of testing it in any other simulator. Paul Clawson.
