The only Avro known to have been registered in Australia ; build number 413 was registered to Australian National Airways Ltd in July of 1930; with its' C of A being cancelled only a year later in July of 1931.

It was pictured flying in Australia , with Charles T.P Ulm at the controls , Ulm was a partner in Australian National Airways, along with Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith. This would only be natural as Ulm was co-pilot on the Pacific crossing flight in 1928, and indeed many of Kingsford-Smith's flights.
