This is the original fs9/2004 installer for the freeware Spitfire Tr.9 that was developed by Aeroplane Heaven in conjunction with
Historic Flying Ltd, and released in 2008
Background and original 'Readme from AH site archived on Wayback Machine.
Shortly before he died, Alex Henshaw, the famous Spitfire test pilot and legendary aviator, took one last flight at the controls of a Spitfire.
The machine in question was this one – a Mk9T painstakingly restored to flying status at Historic Flying Limited. ( registration G-CCCA)
In 2005, whilst the restoration was in progress, Aeroplane Heaven were commissioned to produce a simulation of this aircraft, by HFL for training at their headquarters in England..
This is one of the development models from that series and we bring it to you today with our compliments.
Other things.. No paintkit and not for FSX
