This package contains alternative textures for the FS2004 Spitfire PR.XI by Chris Lampard and Shessi. The textures show the Spitfire PA885 of 542 Sqn RAF, flown by F/O. N.R.M. Clark (RAAF). This arcraft crashed on 28 May 1944 near the village Meerdonk in the Netherlands killing the pilot. The aircraft was most likely hit by anti aircraft fire during a recon mission over the Siegfried-line and several airfields.
To use these textures you must have the Spitfire PR IX/XI package by Chris Lampard and Shessi installed. This package can be found in the libary at Sim-Outhouse.org. The main textures (SPXI_1.bmp, SPXI_2.bmp and SPXI_3.bmp) are done in 16-bits format, which should make the usable for the CFS2 version of this model as well.
