This file contains alternative textures for the FW190D9, which can be found in the A2A/Shockwave Wings of Power Focke Wulf “Long Nose” package for FS2004. It depicts the aircraft red 3 from the airfield protection group from Jagdverband 44, this group consisted of 4 Dora's which protected the Me262 fighters at München-Riem and later Ainring Airfield during landing. Red 3 was flown by the veteran Hauptmann Waldemar Wübke. The text "Im auftrag der Reichsbahn" (On behalf of the State Railway) was painted on this aircraft, which was the personal slogan of Wübke. This slogan could be found on the cargo railway waggons of the German Raiway before the war. When his Bf109E was equipped with bombs during the battle of Britain, he said they converted his fighter into a cargo wagon, and the text was painted on his aircraft as a protest. He kept this slogan for the rest of the war. Wüpke was one of the few fighter pilots who flew combat duties during the entire war. He survived the war, but was killed in an air crash in South America in the early 50s.
