3rd party panel problems...

I’m wondering if somebody can explain something to me. I’ve used third party panels and such a lot before, and I notice that sometimes they don’t work 100% as intended when I put them into an a/c. For example – I’m using a freeware Dassault 2000 panel in a copy of the freeware Veneavones Citation II (which has it panel aliased to the default lear 45 – a panel that I’m not particularly fond of…). Everything in the new panel seems to be working well, except that the hydraulics lights are on all the time – is there something that I need to change in the config to make the lights function properly? Or is this just something that I’ll need to live with because of the way that the panel is coded? Thanks in advance!

Can you post links to the panel and aircraft you are using?

I would like to take a look at it. There should be a simple fix.

It's in the aircraft.cfg - there's no hydraulic pressure. Look for the [hydraulic_system] section and replace it with this one (copied from the default Lear).

[hydraulic_system]
normal_pressure = 3000.0 //PSI
electric_pumps = 0 //no electric pumps
engine_map = 1,1,0,0 //pumps on Eng1,2
