A-36/P-51A Mustang by Allen

MichaelVader:
I have True Airspeed select in CFS2 so that shouldn't be a problem. Okay checked and none of the Realism Settings where being saved and had to delete and replace all of my MODULES folders .dlls. So on start up it was falling back to default Realism Settings including back to Indicated Airspeed. :dizzy:

This CFS2 install is almost stock but for some aircraft and gauges and I just added my Stock Infrastructure Rebuild and Updated US Bombs so it looks a bit better today so no idea why it got so bugged!

One more texture. Lt. William Creech, Burma 1944.

Hallo Allen,
I once had CFS2 on my pc and I never did agree with it.
The flight behavouir of the planes didn't satisfy me and the
sceneries brrr
I never understood why the flight dynamics has been so different compared to fs9
I imported some cfs 2 aircraft to fs9 but there was really too much to rework,
the 2d panels, the flight dynamics. Now thanks to you and collegues I can find fs9 usuable planes.
Now there are some interesting sceneries in cfs 2 ,especially concerning Lorient.
I tried to use them in fs9 - nada no chance snif snif.
FS9 is really the sime that is best for me and my pc.
Besst regards
Yours

A Brit Mustang Mk. II AKA P-51A. Apparently the Brits only got 50 Mustang Mk. II. This Mk. II is from the 2 Squadron, Royal Air Force, Beny-sur-Mer, France, August 1944. This and other low flying Brit Mustangs (Mk.I and Mk.Ia lacked upper surfaces stripes.

A question for all:
Should I add the guns back to the engine and give them there own texture and use an Alpha layer to remove the engine guns for the P-51A/Mustang Mk. II but removing the alpha layer will let someone make the Brit only Mustang Mk.I that used engine guns?

Good Morning Allen,
just for fun I downloaded the plane and to see what it gives in fs9
Very well indeed.
for the moment I just chanded the original vc bmp to the copy one,
looks a bit nicer
reduced a bit the brakes power and added a tailwheel lock.
As the 2D panel --- I fly her with the VC with the change I did.
If you have a nice photo from the real A-36 cockpit I will be interested to make a 2D panel
But would this be of use?
Thank you
Well done
Yours

Ps Joined a photo of a two seat version

Captain Kurt
For now I'm trashing the Mustang Mk.I because it users another set of wings with one 50 cal and two 30 cals.

Anyway, I guess P-51/Mustang Mk.Ia with the 20mms
