• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I would like to whine a bit about some unfinished planes, mostly about Vit Storch's L-39 (there's gmax source file at his site) and Swingman's Yak-18 who never received cylinders in virtual cockpit. Im not really complaining, i know im lazy and dumb :), everything somebody shares and most importantly does it for free is most most appreciated, i just hope that this will attract someones attention and those planes will be finished. Now i will shut up and fly because those planes are works of art even as beta versions.

If you don't mind going over to Avsim Russia, then follow this link and you'll find a lot of additional panel and texture work for Vit Storch's L-39C Beta. (Doughbree Design?) I found an EXCELLENT variation of the L-39C with an upgraded 2D and VC and some repaints that are EYE CANDY, including several Russian Aerobatic Display colours. It's the third file down from the top.

Also at Flightsim, search L-39 and you'll find several excellent repaints for Vit's superb little Aero by Zsolt Beleznay and Markus Hellwig.
