Good morning Priller,
you just did "put the point over the i" The new sims has become so complex that the possibility for freeware developers has "reduites commes peau de chagrin" as you live in belgium you certainly know the term and can translate it.
But when I look on certain commercial add ons, I have in mind a special one bird, aie! They had the bird to examin it make photos and so on. The outcome - hummm. Yes I am not objective as the cockpits of german planes with their gauges are my special domain.
But what have they done? It correspond to none of all the offical documents avaible for this bird and some gauges are pure fantasy.
That is also a big reason for me to love the venerable FS2004 as it leaves place for those developing is still a hobby and not a reason to make money.
I will not bore you more with my opinions. AS in most times when we take two extremes FS2004 on one side and MSFS on the other, the truth might be somewhere in the middle.
I recognize that every sim has his particular advantages and disadvantages
The main thing is that with the sims we use we can fly birds that in real life only a few would ever have the chance to fly with.
Keep them flying
