A.F. Scrub's Fairey Firefly

I run FS9 only and I cannot get Shift+t to lower the tailhook in the latest A F Scrub Firefly model. Does anyone else have that problem?

Ooops! My bad! I assigned shift + t to the tailhook, and Shift + f to folding the wings! But that has to be done in the assign list.

In my FS9 setup 't' keystroke has been allotted to lower/raise tailhook for many years. However on the latest Firefly model that keystroke does not raise or lower tailhook. it worked fine on the previous AF Scrub model!!!

Given up on that one and have returned to the previous FS9 model by A F Scrub. I had to modify the acft cfg a great deal to get the CofG in the 'wing box' (stops it tipping over when you just touch the brakes.) The' wing box' is in Fs9 found under 'Aircraft'/Fuel and payload.

The tailhook doesn't lower while the aircraft is on the ground. In flight it functions as it should.

A F Scrub Fairey Firefly

From Cees: 'the tailhook does not work on the ground'.

I have not had a carrier acft on my various computers (started FS95 in 1995) on which the tailhook only worked when the acft was in the air, so the tailhook on the new Firefly was quite an innovation and took me by surprise.
