Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

A Lockheed "Rounder"

Thank you Owen. Our aircraft projects and gmax source are always available for conversion to FSX native.

We appreciate your interest and support.

Hi Milton,

i would like to take you up on the offer on the Gmax source if you are done tweaking that.
Not for a FSX rebuild but rather to try turning it into the only thing now missing from our Constellation lineup....the Ventillation engine testbed for the R-3350s.

Not sure if anything will ever come of it since I never went past creating the Tutorial P-38 with Gmax, but in theory I should have all the pieces at hand.
Just a bit of cut and paste on the engine nacelles and props and chopping the nose on the twin tail...presto :)

Yeah...I know it will be far from that easy, but with your generous offer I will have a terrific head start.

Sunny9850 at AOL dot COM if it is something you can simply e-mail. And of course no rush.

Cheers
Stefan

In the mean time, I still enjoy thundering along in the WIP release. One of the best VC cockpits I've seen in a long time.

Will do Stefan; no problem. Thanks :)

Thanks Milton. Again very generous of you to offer the fruit of your labor so freely.
And again no rush since I am in the process of re-locating back to the Fatherland and the next few weeks will be spent packing and shipping and flying my Saratoga as often as I can afford.

It may be a while before I can come back for a flying vacation in California :)

Cheers

Not a problem; happy to do it. It is packaged and awaiting your request when the time is right.

Any news on the release of the final Harpoon? No rush, of course, but things have been very quiet for awhile. I'm really looking forward to all those posted repaints.

Thanks

Pssst, hey Nigel.... remember the raid we pulled off a couple months back? I still have a few crates of the stuff stashed in a lory that's parked behind the dispersal, matey. SSHHHH... don't tell young Matt, he'll be chasin' us down in "Ouzo Mustangs" for months to come. We'll never be able to live this one down... :isadizzy: lol!

A cat's cradle of dots, dashes and metallic smears and a fist full of reference photos.

Adding dots, checking in sim, back to re-shuffling dots, adding dashes...usual, run-o-de mill, behind curtain routine.

Plenty to be done, just requires patience.

The 'enjoying', is the all-important factor.

This one rates HIGH!

Ah... Nigel, your detail is superb!!!

Thanks for your patience everyone. I think we all needed a break and a nice diversion. I hope to be easing back into things during April. Depending on how things progress, I may do a pre-release version for you and from that, maybe you could share some useful feedback.
