a 'Smooth' WIP - IRIS F-15 Revamp

well i mentioned it so it's only fair to show you, after a week of working away (and on the Stoof Paintkit) i've been getting more accurate panel lines onto the IRIS F-15, this is only phase 1, Phase 2 will be weathering, then phase 3.... the paints! so enough of me telling you about it and here's 2 shots from inside ACM of these new lines...

Coming along very nicely... I do hope you have ambitions for the Strike Eagle, too!

While you're at it, can you modify the VC to where we can see the wings and tail? I think peoples computers can handle it these days.:salute:

don't think i can as thats a model issue all i can do is touch up the paint, wish i could... i really do, but to compensate i'll make sure the rest is up to par, even get those wing 'clouding' (Prandtl Glauert Singularity, condensation) onto it from the FSKBT super Hornet or something :jump:

ok... last one before i hit the sack due to a headache i've been trying to work through.... weathering starting to go on the nose areas, then it's onto decals, then i work backwards along the airframe... what a difference a few hours make....

EDIT: In addition this is what i'll be doing to the MiG-29 once this is finished, after the MiG-29 i'll also be casting an eye over one of my favourite trainers.... the Hawk!

well thought i'd show you the latest, weathering is well underway on the nose and topside (incl. outer fins), still gotta do the Nacelles, Inner Fins underside... etc... if anyone has good shots of the metal on the tailpipes, can they pass them along? i'd really like to get them up to standard....

but as promised, heres an update...

an update of the update? sure why not :icon_lol: Here we see port wing with its weathering and wingtip Nav Lights and root beacon lights, not much longer then i can get that underside done then finalise the Kit (By not much longer i'm talking a couple days) :icon_lol:

Cool! Thanks in advance for taking this on. Looking forward to the final result.

Been meaning to redo the brown and blue 64th Aggressor schemes for a long time now. This should help.

yup pretty much done will sort it after i restore all my programs (PC crapped out last night while i slept) not surprising it is nudging 7 years of age..... :icon_lol:

by done i mean A-C paintkit, gonna take a look at strike eagle paintkit next...
