A2A Connie is released!

After some research I found the name was Star Of Geneva and it was also lettered in French below the English. That was later removed when she was shifted from international to domestic flights. Close to being on final.

Excellent research, Happy, and excellent work on the repaint too ! She does wear white very well, doesn't she. Looking forward to download. Thank you once again !

You were given the answer on the A2A forum,however here is a copy of that answer again.

Your pictures are both of Super Constellations, which had re-profiled tails to address issues with "Mach Tuck" that were experienced with the higher-speed wing of the aircraft.

Answer is not correct because the right piccie shows the vert.stabs. of N90816 which is an L-049 ( see http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...is-released!?p=1059412&viewfull=1#post1059412 ) and the left piccie shows the vert.stabs of the A2A model which is supposed to be an L-049 as well...

There's a slight texture problem pertaining to the starboard inner engine's top cowlflaps. It shows a black area almost covering the complete flaps. Can be seen here too : http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...is-released!?p=1059259&viewfull=1#post1059259

That's not intentional, is it ?...

Well spotted, found the problem, part of the belly "KLM HOLLAND" lettering.

We've had this Connie in Kansas City for a long time. Lots of loving hands have gone into keeping her running over the years. It has had some down time most of the last decade due to engine problems but will be airworthy again soon.
