G-POOH is almost ready for upload. Here's a shot of it from last night:

I have since done a couple things, but that's pretty much what she looks like.

Mr. Kiwikat,

I see from your Avatar, that you have turned to the "Good"-side of the FS world; The FSX-side. :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Nice Paint job! :applause: I'm getting mine this weekend and am looking forward to adding your paint to it.
:ernae:

You can look, but not touch... that is to say I am not quite ready to upload yet - need to do a couple of small adjustments.

Inspired by a Russian RW paint, I have taken the liberty to add poetic license.

Wow Chris - that looks superb. Meanwhile Im plodding on with this one..

Not as detailed as Chris' great scheme but this is taking a while to finish.

I got plenty of complaints over at A2A - it seems the readers there do not like this paint. Or the websites I support or use as "sponsors".

Yours has come on nicely Gajit.

I think I feel the need for a couple of dirty paints coming on,,,

Mr. Chris B,
Can't always please everyone; you might recall when I wanted to UPDATE Aerosoft's F-16 HSI gauges, how sooo many users "Whined" and "complained" over nothing. :kilroy: It turned out the majority wanted it after all and it is a WIP. :ernae::gameon:
But, I like it... Maybe just remove the logos for them and post both versions, that way everybody's happy. :engel016:

Anyway, keep up the good work everybody doing paints, I really like what I see! :medals:

Nice work gajit, I might have to get this one afterall!

Chris, who cares what the whiners think, I like it and if you like it, tough, go for it!

Who cares what they think? Nobody's going to make them download it.

To be honest, I read those comments as well and Chris, you really might want to step back and read them again. What the posters actually asked was whether it was possible to do a version with the logos and without. Hardly scathing criticism, just asking a question, certainly far from "whining".

"Sorry, but they're websites I support so I'm leaving them there" would have sufficed as an answer.

Chris, that is par for the course whenever making anything fictional, however, one of the best things with J-3 owners is almost anything goes. When I see this paint, I imagine walking into a fly-in and seeing you with your plane.

However, regarding complaints, we do prefer people just speak their mind rather than sugar coat it, and complaints are not only welcome with us, but encouraged. There was some guy who complained a while ago about someone’s work and a few got all bent out of shape over it. I mentioned to one of our guys, “Did I miss something, or did this guy have a lot of constructive comments?” and his response was, “If he said that about one our products, we would have asked him to join our team.”

Please don’t get discouraged by criticisms. It’s all coming from a passion about aircraft, which is always a good thing.

GiJit that's a damn good paint, great stuff! :ernae:

Chris I like your paint, I personally wouldn't use it myself to fly but will be ready to download it for use as Scott says in my virtual AI fly-ins, I can pretend you have flown in for a visit :icon29:
