A2A WOPIII P-47 Out Now!!!

Oh - and take note other developers - highly detailed all round with excellent frame rates - if only everyone would be this considerate to us low spec PC owners. Well done A2A

WOW..........all I can say is.........WOW!! That and my first take off and landing were picture perfect!

In one word: Sublime!!

I love it!
I had to refer to manual to get her home in one piece though..just great.
The sounds are brilliant, squealing brakes, groans and squeaks, all it misses are a couple of .50's...

After weeks of flying her with no real mishaps I started breaking engines regularly. A few minutes after take off I would notice the MP drop of significantly forcing me to ditch. I eventually realised that I had switched from my default flight in the Pacific to a much colder European location.

It turned out I was doing what I do in every other warbird I flew. I would start the engine then take off straight away with scant regard for oil temperature. This was fine in 25-30C heat of summer in the Pacific but in near freezing European winter weather it was a recipe for disaster. The very cold oil caused various problems and my engine would inevitably die after a short time.

It takes you to be sure your oil has warmed up to its optimum temperature by sitting at around 1200 RPM for quite a few minutes prior to take off in cold weather.

The P-47 with accusim has ruined every other warbird I have. They all seem like toys now. This includes all the old A2A/Shockwave stuff too.

Looks fantastic. Question about the radio's. Does the p-47 also have a modern radio so you can fly her in a civilian world? I'm referring to the Realair Spitfire here that has some variants with a Bendix radio.
