Absurd flight

I've got this itch to fly a Spitfire from Bermuda to the Azores. I was thinking about the Spitfire XIX with over 300 gallons (US) of AvGas and how it'd flown some ridiculously long flights in r/l. The flight I've got in mind is a little over 1600 nm long, but I'm thinking if I go way high and throttle way back for fuel mileage I might can pull it off.

First I need to revisit Spitfire 101 as I haven't flown one in almost forever and I'd rather not make the distance just to prang it up on landing.
