Aero L-39 Albatros

The first thing I noticed is when I select the "VC" view
using F9, I get the radio panel in the L-39C. This normally
gets you to the "left seat" or "front cockpit pilots seat"
on all aircraft.

When I try using my other HotKey assignments, they do
not work. These are the key associations made through
the FSX "Controls" menu, "Buttons/Keys" in the "View Camera 4 "
through "View Camera 9" entries.

I use HotKeySelect=5, 6 and 7 to select the CameraDefinitions 001/002/003
and map the #2 hat switch positions to Camera View 4, 5 and 6.
This works on all other aircraft but for some reason they
are not working on the L-39C.

It's as though those commands are either being ignored
by the L-39C code or the keystrokes otherwise intercepted.

Anyone have an explanation?

It happens to me too just hit F9 then hit A and it will take you to either front or rear cockpits mate!!

Unfortunately that doesn't "fit" into my scheme of
controling view switches :(

I use the #2 hat on my stick to move from one
view to the next at the flick of my thumb. Having
that ability makes flying in any VC a snap, or shall
I say "a flick" :)

I would really like to understand why the "standard"
view control functions are not working with this superb model.

EDIT: I just read the "Known bugs and issues" post over in the
Lotus forums and saw that the inoperable "F9" has been
noted and will be fixed in the next update. Hopefully that
will also fix the problem with the other view HotKeys.
I will post my observations there as soon as I receive
my validation email for full forum access.

Gajit I'd bring the U.S. Air Force words closer together on the nose a touch, they look a bit far apart to me, otherwise its brilliant mate!!

Hi guys. Yes this a known issue and entirely my fault. I never use those keys, and never have, so never thought to test them!

I have a fix for it, which will be in the first update for the plane, but I will get an installer together with a quick fix and instructions on my forum so you can get it working in the mean time. I should have that fix posted in the support forum today or tomorrow sometime.

hahahaha thats so ugly that its fun, I hate it but love it, I think its Marmite you'll either hate it or love it, bullet holes, dirt, rust, covered in oil and graffiti lol I love it mate just my type of bird Pilottj Hahaha!!
But don't tell my girlfriend I said that, I'm in enough trouble as it is haha!!!

Aren,t you a bit of a nosey weasel lately Peter ? It,s not like i,ve worked hours or days to feel bad on scrapping any.I could still very well upload my versions if I dont like Zlin,s rendition.Wich it,s very unlikely cause I like what I see on both sharks liveries.He reworked the interior also in case you didn,t notice so he does have intimate knowledge and more material for those two planes.It just make sense to enjoy his hard and detailed work like any of you.Plus he,s from Hungary and so are those planes.Do I need any more resons to back down ? If you didn,t know I,ve always hated putting together files for upload and when I did it,it was kinda under pressure,to please the request.Anyone who can save me time and effort it,s my friend .So,sharpen those pencils and brushes people,this is a model so easy to repaint using the kit that anyone can have a masterpiece as result.I didn,t see any bad repaint so far,well ,maybe one...:icon_lol: but i wont tell.
