Hello,

Here some screens of my "green cockpit", the work is almost finished and I still have some little textures to be modified and everything is OK.
You will be able to the download in some hours or tomorrow, you know I work hard et this cockpit is a real piece of ART from LOTUS.....
Once again, I am sorry but in this version of my cokpit is in English because I do not know the Cyrillic........
PS:
I am sorry for the number of screens which I have just published but I was not able to resist to the temptation:

Hello,

Thank you for your encouragements !!

Until my "Russian Cockpit" is available at "Flightsim" and at "SOH" here is the link to download the skin that I created and which changes the colours of the original cockpit.

You can download it and can you say me if my explanations are correctements explained because my Englais is poor.

If everything is OK can you say me what you think of my work ?

PS:
Thank you in zsoltquack for your link to MediaFire.....

Here the address to download it "Temporary Download Link" : http://www.mediafire.com/?wutzmzzwzfm

Well Tigisfat, there are 262 real L-39's on the Civil Registry (and growing) and one can be had for a reasonable price if you desire realism at it's truest form. My business partner and I are actually considering buying one as well as looking at other similar options. My business partner's PQ's for flying the type are kosher with the FAA's rules(he is a former F-4 & F-16 Pilot) but my PQ's aren't quite there yet(which will change before long). Some guys I've talked to who are L-39 qualified seem to think this model is pretty dead on flight dynamics wise and yes more than a few have tried this and many other FS models out of interest. "Similar to a large GA with a turbofan instead of a Lycoming" seems to be how the L-39 is describe here and there. When I go to do my orientation ride next month, I will give you my fair and unbiased assessment.

(Edit), BTW, judging by your avatar, you really should get out from under those B-1B's and get some sun!!! LMAO..............

I look forward to the comparison after you've flown the real thing. I've never flown one, but I've come close a few times. A documentary film maker that was making a film at Dyess with help from myself, a WSO and the PR office offered me one, but he sold it before it came time. Also, I almost convinced my brother to buy one for a personal business transport, but a few others in the company convinced him to buy a baron instead. You'd never convince me that a baron is more practical.

I think you've done a great job on that repaint but i must admit I think its just too green, if you look below at my posted shot it is a lot lighter colour that is used, mabe you could try and change it, other wise just tell me to get lost!! Regards and thanks for your hard work Pete!!

Some like the showroom clean, glossy look while I prefer the weathered look.
Park the above green repaint out in the sun for a few years, a few dozen students banging around and it will look just right.

Awesome painst for this Jet. The Blue Angels paint really suits the Albatros, and the American Spirit paint is great. Good job. :jump:

Hello Peter and Bleached :wavey:

I thank you for your pleasant words, I am going to create a second cockpit with a green more clearly as with the photo than you published.

The skin of the "Blues Angels" is really very beautiful, this skin will be available in downloading ?

Regards, Olivier.

What's the old saying--a bird in the hand is worth three in the bush? The L-39 is your bird in the hand, here now and ready to fly. Let's see, so that pencils out to three future add-ons. Hey, by my math you can get it right now and not feel bad in the least. :kilroy:
