Jmig, thanks for registering. I activated your account. The reason you couldn't see the forums immediately after registering is that I require all members there to PM me there with their purchase details before I give full access. Not something I enjoyed having to do but unfortunately it was the only way to keep the pirates out. They were causing a considerable mess in there the first few weeks after release, and this system allows me to give faster support, and keep my sanity in the process.
If you log back in you'll see them all available now.
Joseph, the paint looks good. I would be careful though when borrowing the specular maps from another paint. There's colour and alpha data in all of them and you may see some strange ghosting effects from markings that aren't there when the sun hits them at certain angles. Although the idea behind specular maps is kind of funky, they really aren't all that hard to make once you get used to dealing with them. I explained the process as well as I could in the paint kit manual, so I hope that helps a bit.
Merida, thanks for your paints. To answer your question though, no I don't plan to make the L-159. It's just too similar to the L-39, and for a second project I intend to do something quite different. Variety keeps things interesting.
Cheers guys,
-Mike
