Aeroplane Heaven B-25J (and B) released

For you Doolittle B-25B fans, there's now a FS2024 mod for Superspud's 2020 carriers that puts the Hornet in the right place off the coast of Japan...

My fuel tank issues were all my own stupidity...apologies to Baz!

I can't edit the posts any more so if an admin could erase posts #13 and #20 to avoid any confusion that would be brilliant...

Jonathan Beckett's live stream: the B-25 in MSFS2024. He questions the single waist gunner, but it is accurate ( the radio operator, I believe ). I think he was expecting two, as in the B-17 and B-24. Personally, I'm still on the fence about getting this model, but I like the look of it.

Update released on Just Flight.

v1.1

- Tooltips added for some controls without them

- Texture improvements in cockpits

- Texture improvements in exteriors

- Removed "flashing" in some glazing components

- Auxiliary Fuel Tank gauges now functional

- Detailed brake drums added to main wheels

- Functioning Superchargers added

Get some information from somebody who flew this thing for more than 2400 hours: Fighter Pilot Podcast Episode 98 - it's correct ;-)
Quote: You don't have room for two guys back there - in any spot in the plane you can easily touch both sidewalls at the same time with your hands - this thing is tight

What do you need in a paintkit Jan?
Hello bazzar. I am an amateur livery painter and have been working on an RCAF livery. I have also reached out to JanKees in regards to painting the various textures. I would also like to see a B-25D version with no upper turrets as that is what my livery represents. After speaking with JanKees I just wanted to point out a few thing that I have noticed and am experiencing problems with. I have a hard time figuring out the wing root textures at the back of the engines to make a uniform exhaust pattern. It seems like a jigsaw puzzle and I am very amateur at livery painting. With the recent update I am having the forward fuselage gun pods show up on the livery in pink. When I enter the nopods to the cfg. the livery does not load. I simply added the Newpods textures and they show up correctly. There seems to be a problem with the model not loading when nopods is in the cfg. One other thing is that when I take a screenshot on the ground using Shift+V the aircraft levitates off the ground about one foot above the runway.
I really love the work that Aeroplane Heaven have put into this plane and look forward to any improvements. JanKees told me he was having the same issue when nopods was in the cfg. with the livery not showing.
Thanks for all the work being done and any future updates. Love the B-25

Sorry for this post. I just wanted to show the levitation issue when the a screenshot is taken on the ground and the trouble with painting the wing root area. The textures were not finished in these shots but I was just showing them for reference.
Thanks again.

+ 1 for MSFS2020, early days I know, but your thoughts on tweaking the Maple Leaf blue a little darker ?

Allow me to reïterate a remark that was made before: any issue or problem should be directed to AH support.

Hasn't Baz also said they do all their liveries in 3D using substance painter rather than the old 2D way, consequently they don't worry about weird mappings...
