Aeroplane Heaven Lancaster available!

I posted about those stencils in #143 :)
The AH originals said tank no 1 for both tanks and also said 80 octane so I 'fixed' them in my coastal command liveries. I'm assuming the real lancaster had stencils for tanks 1 and 2 on each wing, and maybe tank 3?

Don't know about that , Keith.
The decal sheet only shows no.1 tanks.

AH put two no.1 stencils on each wing (haven't checked latest release) ... normally there would be one for each filler cap but we,d need a good photo of a real lanc BBMF might know....

A new update, V1.5.0 is available at the stores and probably this week at the MarketPlace. The update just places the ADF-VOR switch on the DF repeater mounting plate in al cockpits.

Also fully translated LOC files are now included in the packages.

Excellent -grabbed it at Just Flight's shop. Thank you.
Would it also be possible, at some point, to improve the texture of the underside of the canopy sunshade? At the moment, it is an almost featureless black - could it be redone to maybe match the top ? Sounds like a small thing, but the sunshade is one of those 'immersion-enhancing' little features of the model.

Yes Paul, we can look into that.

" yes that glossy part on the static tires...why?."

The "gloss" on the tyres is oil. It is only on the top surface of the tyres. It came from the engines when the aircraft were parked. If you look closely, you will see that we remove the oil stain as soon as the Lanc moves off and they become matt. We have spent time coding this to replicate what happened in real life as part of ground crew duties was to wipe off the oil before a mission. There was usually little time to use tyre covers as they do today. It is just part of our "diorama" extras.
