Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Aerosoft/ToLiss Airbus A340-600 released

Paul K

SOH-CM-2026
This is the Airbus I've hoped for in MSFS 20 and 24. It's getting great reviews as far as the ToLiss-built systems are concerned, while the Aerosoft model and textures are deemed 'adequate' so far. Can't give you a review on it as it's a very complex model, and I've only just started to go through the manual. There are a lot of videos on Youtube, however, and all of them seem favourable. This is the official Aerosoft promo:

Love the -600 variant. Well the real one at least, since at LH that one had the large restroom area on the lower deck with enough room to walk a bit without bothering other passengers on those long FRA-LAX flights I did have to endure many times a year.
But the door to the crew rest was also down there as was the rest area for the FAs, and I can tell you when the tubes were flushed in the adjoining Lavs you heard that 1:1 in there.
I might consider it, just for memory sake. But normally the tubeliners are all just collecting dust.
