Stephen Donaldson fans awaken! Book 3 of the Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant is out. I thought this was going to be the last book of the Trilogy, but according to his official web site, this is the third of four books in the “trilogy” Dang, I'm exhausted! This story has been going on for decades! Good books though.

guess i need to go back and re-read all the earlier stuff and then try to find the latest.

I wonder if it is filmable? Too long no doubt. Maybe TV. Too expensive probably, and not a large enough audience either I suspect.

My local library just added it to the "New Arrivals" shelves. I've got it checked out and in my reading queue, just as soon as I finish reading the stack of L.E. Modesitt, Jr. "Recluce" novels I'm working my way through!

Evidently there was a movie planned at some point in the past, accoring to THIS web site. Dang, that would have been one depressing movie! Covenant has lot of "issues"!
