• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Stephen Donaldson fans awaken! Book 3 of the Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant is out. I thought this was going to be the last book of the Trilogy, but according to his official web site, this is the third of four books in the “trilogy” :icon_lol: Dang, I'm exhausted! This story has been going on for decades! Good books though.
 
wow! i thought he ended that series a long, long time ago...
guess i need to go back and re-read all the earlier stuff and then try to find the latest.
 
I wonder if it is filmable? Too long no doubt. Maybe TV. Too expensive probably, and not a large enough audience either I suspect.
 
My local library just added it to the "New Arrivals" shelves. I've got it checked out and in my reading queue, just as soon as I finish reading the stack of L.E. Modesitt, Jr. "Recluce" novels I'm working my way through! ;)
 
My copy just arrived from Amazon.com a couple of minutes ago!

Evidently there was a movie planned at some point in the past, accoring to THIS web site. Dang, that would have been one depressing movie! Covenant has lot of "issues"! :icon_lol:
