Albatross! Albatross! I haven't got any ice cream, just got this Albatross!

Hi Mike. Thanks for suggesting an overlooked NAV1/GPS setting to allow the HU-16 autopilot to activate and use the NAV features to capture an ILS and an approach. I repeated a test, assuring the NAV1/GPS switch activated NAV. The rest of my autopilot actions used the small grouping of autopilot settings located just above the Radio Altimeter. Hovering over the AP, HDG, NAV, APR, REV and APT keys display in banners the action and ON or OFF condition. Pressing the AP displays the red ROL and AP. Pressing the HDG key displays the red HDG and AP. Pressing the NAV displays the red ROL and AP and a brief NAV1 which disappears. The end result is that I can't get NAV to work for an ILS capture or approach. Since it works for you it must be my system. Thanks again for your suggestion. I appreciate your response.

SU3 is out, and I've just been reading through the release notes. Blimey, Mike - that is a long list for the Albatross! Well done, and a huge thank you.
