All Windows 7 Versions--What You Need to Know

Well- sounds like Windows 7 Starter will end up considered crap-ware with that silly 3-app restriction... seems like most people load up many times that just on start-up!
The rest of it sounds good, though...
 
Why would anyone want a 32 bit version if they invested tons of money for the hardware needed to run win 7 ?

Because some installers, games, and Windows programs that people use on a regular basis are still 16-bit (DOS, Windows 3.x), and won't run on a 64-bit OS. In most cases, the person or company that wrote it is out of business now, and no newer versions are available.

Bigger problem than you might think.
