Hello,

I have AS's F111 for FS9 but the sound seems to be aliased to the default Learjet 45. It's quite obvious. And the AB effects look unrealistic, too.

I can live with the AB effects for now, but the engine sounds make me not want to fly it.

I would obviously direct my question to Alphasim, but they are no longer in business as you know. I also can't find any sound files for the F111 from any of the 'flightsim' file library sites.

Any guidance would be most appreciated. :)

Alphasim lives on as Virtavia these days. :)

Haven't found any soundpacks for TF30 with afterburners (The A-7 has the same engine but without afterburner) but there is an F-14 soundset by Christoffer Petersen at Flightsim.com; look for 'f14ge110.zip'. His soundsets are usually pretty good.

Oh, okay, so perhaps I can find an A-7 with authentic sounds and use those for the F-111 then?

This file from Steve Hess @ Avsim -- > fs9_alphasim_f111_panel.v2.0.zip
contains modified 'burner' effects (as well as a panel upgrade)

I'd go for the F14 sounds too!
