Bought the U-2 a long time ago(Must have been on of my first payware aircraft) and I still like it! The VC could do with an overhaul but the model is still good and it's a real handful to fly.

The Draken is great too, especially with the textures from Pierre Lheureux (Check Avsim). His later sets include updated VC textures that make it look more real.

Many repaints for Alphasims indeed
Do you confuse Viggen with Draken ?

Avsim are going through now and sending out requests to authors to reupload individual zip file sets. I'm getting one or two emails a day myself. Also I checked there and elsewhere and don't see that Pierre ever painted any textures for the Saab Draken. He did a few special occasion textures for the Saab Viggen but that is a completely different aircraft.

Well I did check my backup disks and found six Draken repaints by Pierre, all downloaded from Avsim.

Filenames: Texture.aus.zip (Upgraded Austrian colours), texture.check.zip (Swedish Saab J35F Draken Flottilj F.10), texture.dan.zip(Danish Draken), texture.dragon.zip (Saab J35OE Austrian Dragon Knights), texture.red.zip (Swedish Saab J35F red tail) and texture.saab.zip (Saab J35 Special american "SAAB" Colors). All have been uploaded at the end of 2005/beginning of 2006.

I thought that someone had done some repaints of it but saw nothing at all when I looked in the usual places. Not even a broken link. Thanks for the filenames though. Will have to go in search of those.

Well I've just downloaded, and installed, six of Pierre's repaints for the Drakken (including the funky one in Alphasim colours). Excellent stuff. Only thing left to do is hunt down a suitable soundpack. Any recommendations?

I am having a blast with the PBM. Did anyone do any repaints for it? I have check in all the usual suspect locations and haven't come up with any but it looks like a canvas that is crying out for more paints.
