The black on the wing leading edge, is that not the rubber deicing boot? Was that painted?

Yes it is so it doen't be wear as that (alu => metal and not rubber) but you can have some ice if the weather conditions are present.

It's become a bit quiet about this great project. Is it now complete or will there perhaps still be an update version 1.x?

A version 1.0 is always planned but I begin this project in ... 2013 and some time working on a other project is a good way to regain motivation and ideas.

Regarding the next improvements, I had planned :
- to redo the CTRL+E start-up with what I managed to achieve for the DC-4, which is significantly better in terms of realism.
- next, the interior textures of the cockpit should be redone because a certain number are inherited from the FSX model.
- finally, the cockpit lighting should also be reviewed, and the military Blackcat model will have a vintage Sperry block.

Creating airplanes is a hobby for me and does not have to become a job, otherwise the pleasure disappears so I will get back on the PBY when I feel the need.
