• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

An open letter to our SOH community re. the An-2

I've got the Piglet -2T/-2V half converted and sitting on a HD. I need to throw a prop on it, and update materials yet.
However, I'm not terribly interested in the barge, the conversion was started as a learning ex some time ago.
If I finish it off, is any one here interested in taking it off my hands to tune it up, splash some paint, bump and spec maps, and package/publish it?
Permissions are pre-dispensed by Tim some years ago '...hack it, modify it...ect'.
Yell here, or PM, I check in periodically.

Note: Forget about systems immersion. Piglet didn't go for that...extraneous b.s.(he's an A&P, and not interested in that for a video game. I'm a pilot-engineer, and really not interested in running checklists and flipping switches- it's not terribly realistic, anyway, no matter how much effort is expended, and, it's a game. I get enough 'immersion' and 'reality' in the RW, thanks.)
 
Having done a bit of research, I decided on one of the original bush planes and got the Flight Replica's Super Cub (Standard Model). One hop around the patch told me this would hold me over until my Annuschka resurrects herself from the ashes like a Phoenix.... in fact, Flight of the Phoenix should be a good title for my first Annuschka Orbx journey in P3D v4, or has that been used for something already.....?
