I have been struggling a lot lately on making planes. The struggle has not been so much a technical issue, but more one of endlessly working the same "routine". I'm guessing the fact that I am a "one man band" has a lot to do with that.
That said, a few weeks ago while looking for a file I had burnt to CD I came across something I had messed with several years ago. I was amazed at how amateur I was back then, and started to re-work it. I still have a lot I want to do, but I think it would be a cool scenery object for you Navy guys. :salute:

Here are some more pics. It's been an interesting diversion. I was a crew member on it for over 3 years. Lots of memories dredge up as I work on it.

You are referring to the SPG-55 missile directors. One for each launcher rail. It would acquire the target and project a beam at it that guided the missile in.
