Anotehr RCAF What-If ('cause that's what I do): H-P Pembroke

Rallymodeller

Stuck record? Sure. But I do what I know, and I know Canadian paint schemes. Anyway, just about finished Manfred Jahn's Pembroke in RCAF colours, circa 1961.

Can't seem to find the location of the inner cowlings, so they remain white for the time being. This is also one of those models that turns transparent as you darken the alpha channel, so no metallic textures (yet).

Beautifully done, Rallymodeller. Looks real enough to me. :salute: There is a small airport in Jefferson County, just north of Denver, Colorado, where a Pembroke is rolled out of a hangar from time to time. It's on the south end of the airport, I don't know who owns it but it looks to be in pretty good condition, from what I have seen of it. The plane sports a red and white colour scheme with the older British roundels. I have never seen it fly though.

My plan is to slowly build a late-1950s RCAF fleet where American aircraft are replaced by British aircraft. No particular reason, though.
