• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Thats for FSX next door. I dont have issues with FSX its in romance bliss with W7. This time its Fs9 being a royal pain.

Ooops sorry I failed to look at which forum I was in, I click the new posts menu item. Stand by I will search for what I have on FS9.

I am a Vista 64 user and here is the portion of my Terrain Section in my FS9 Configuration file. The "TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21" line is at "21" because I use FSGenesis mesh. If you do not use a 3rd part mesh at all, try 21, 20, and 19 to see which works best for you.

TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=400 <----- Try "400". If this creates stutters, try "300" or something along there.
[TERRAIN]
TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=100.000000
TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=10.000000
TERRAIN_MAX_DEM_AREA=100.000000
TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21
TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8
TERRAIN_AUTOGEN_DENSITY=5
TERRAIN_USE_GRADIENT_MAP=1
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_TEXTURES=1
TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.500000 <----------- These two lines seem to affect blurries the most.
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=9.500000 <-----------
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=232

Hope this helps!
