Area 51 Sim - RAH-66 Comanche released!

I took the plunge and noticed that the HUD only projects on the front windscreen, despite having buttons for the HUD in both cockpits.

Is it flown like a typical gunship with the pilot in the rear and the gunner up front?

Here is the panel text for the HUD:

[Vcockpit03]
file=$vc3.bmp
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,1024
visible=0
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$vc3
gauge00=Rah66!HUD, 116,116,768,768

If I change the numbers, will this move the HUD back to the rear pilot's view?

As an interim, I may add the HUD overlay from Dino's F-35 to mimic a HMD.

Great repaints BTW. Woulda, coulda, shoulda...

The polar camo is really very nice, Barnes. Here I am flying over Bella Coola in Canada.

Jeff, is there a possibility to replace the default HUD with the F-35 HUD? I don’t like the default HUD very much.

What I PM'd to Stickshaker was that the HUD is stuck in place in the front cockpit. This is due to the front cockpit being the primary eye point and the actual pilot's cockpit to the rear is simply a shift in eye point via the aircraft.cfg

So, if you want a proper pilot's HMD/HUD, you'll have to add one via a text edit to the panel.cfg and add a 3rd Party HUD gauge.

I added Captain Sim's Weapon X to it, so I'll use that as an HMD and fly that way.
