Does any know of the FS2004/CFS3 P-47D Razorback that was offered from Areoplane Heaven many years ago? This super rare plane existed ,as evidence shows . Was offered with the CFS3 La-9 as a free gift with purchase of the La-9. Contacted AH ,but no reply as of yet. Can anyone help with this mysterious aircraft ? Anyone heard of it ? Any help will be greatly appreciated . Regards ,Scott

It's odd that AH would replicate an existing cfs3 model only a year after its publication, I wonder if they had permission to use the SDK model and tweaked that?

Never realized that Malcom Hoot thunderbolts were a thing...

It's a shame they were never released, even though the P-47 was already represented in the stock game (and another one is on the way), more variety is always a good thing.

I never realized that AH made a stuka and an He-111 in their BoB package...

Did manage to get one of the AH P-47's ,a P-47D Bubble Top. Nice aircraft. The owner of AH told me he searched but cannot find them. If anyone does have them i have permission to them being shared. Any help will be much appreciated for the FS2002/CFS3 AH P-47 package. Regards,Scott

Check your messages,

Thank you Eddie ! Maybe Andy or someone can take a look at the Razorback model/textures for a fix. The AH P-47D Bubble top canopy version doesn't have this problem. Regards, Scott

The transparent panel is caused by the Alpha layer included in ah_p47D_malcom_tail_t.dds.

You can safely delete the alpha layer to make that panel a solid color.

The current texture has that area as black which look weird as the matching ah_p47D_malcom_tail_r.dds is shaded for it to be reflective bright metal, so you probably want to repaint it.

Thanks Andy ! Sounds like a job for a skilled painter. Maybe someone can tackle this. I'm just now learning photoshop ,so it may be a while for me to do. Regards, Scott

I redid the prop texture to have 4 blades, but the skin textures could stand a rework to even up the patchwork of panel colors.
