A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 3 American Aircraft

Description: With permission by the owner of Aeroplane Heaven, Bazzar.


This is a reworking by MajorMagee of the AH original package to make it more compatible with AnKor's Shaders, increase the texture resolution, add panel line bump maps, create lights and special effects, and to clean up some of the mapping irregularities.

I just fixed two more little texture sniggles related to the tires, and the tail wheel doors. (it only took two hours to track down and fix...).

I know the main wheel hub cutouts look distorted, but the surface model in this area precludes fixing it. (Same texture looks fine on the tail wheel)

The first 10 people who downloaded it should probably grab it again. (The latest file is named AH P47D_MalcolmHood_r2.zip)

Apologies for not doing this in the first place, but I just uploaded a revised package for the AH Malcolm Hood Razor Back.

The r3 update fixes various issues with the wing panel lines and moves the wing tip lights to their proper position.

p.s. If you downloaded the Malcolm Hood version before 18 Feb 22 you'll want to get that one again as it (AH P47D_MalcolmHood_r4.zip) has now been updated with the same wing panel line, and light location improvements as this one.
