I'm giving this some serous thought now that it's moved a way toward maturity but.......I noticed a lot of grumbles about ACC in general on the forums and Steam, coupled with the apparent lack of activity here.
Before I pull the trigger I should be asking our resident ACC users what (if anything) is limiting your enthusiasm?
The usual whingers on Steam are hardly a reliable source of information and the usual suspects on the usual forums are prejudiced firmly in the 'yes' or 'no' camps.
Thoughts please Ferry and Noddy.

I think it is a solid sim, but for me the extra content available for Assetto Corsa keeps me going back to that sim more. I do enjoy the occasional race in ACC though!
A general lack of time isn't helping either.

If you like GT3 racing in general this is the best option I think. It reminds me a bit of the classic GTR2.
Should really do the Spa 24 hours again soon.

Thank you Ferry.
I agree, the add-on content is the best and strangely weakest part of AC.
The really good mods are just that, really good, but some of the ordinary mods are very ordinary.
What I find attractive about ACC are the time and weather options, it annoys me when a circuit is posted with day and night options that don't work without additional packages.
I've given up on RF2, despite the revised program and new (maybe different?) developers it's always crashing or not even loading, shame as I hooked up with the original RF2 at the very start.
Time is always a problem which is why I'm only considering ACC at the moment........then again, one should never say never.

V1.1 Was released yesterday, with all cars and tracks from the current season, so it now includes Zandvoort as well!
It also includes the McLaren 720GT3, even though the real thing was never used in the Blancpain series, since it was BOP'ed into oblivion.
Still a fun car though!

I cannot get a good shot as they all come out with jaggies, but in game it looks great!! Also getting the ghosting at the rear of the car.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

The ghosting effect is really annoying, but it is it not visible when you pause the game. Of course then the wheels aren't rotating..

And some news regarding ACC; a track pack is coming: [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]https://505games.com/assetto-corsa-competizione-the-intercontinental-gt-pack/

The Intercontinental GT Pack, will be fully dedicated to Intercontinental GT Challenge, featuring new tracks such as Suzuka, Mount Panorama, Laguna Seca and Kyalami
