Assigning voices

dhasdell

SOH-CM-2023
Is it possible to assign a particular voice to a specified aircraft?. The ALPHA Cessna 170, for instance, has a female pilot. Would it be possible for this aircraft to use a female pilot's voice whenever it is flown without changing my normal preferred voice?

I think you're stuck in this case - unless someone knows some deep hack that I don't. I think MS only provided for the ability to change your own voice. ATC and AI just get random assignments. I've been flying when an AI plane and ATC got the same voice. I remember thinking about the old saying about how you're only really crazy if you answer yourself.

I did some looking around and think Tom is right. There is no apparent way to assign a ATC voice to a particular AI aircraft.

Cheers
Stefan

Thanks, that's rather what a thought. I'll just have to change the active voice for that session. It was partly the AI variety made me wonder - I hadn't realised it was random.
