At long last, the legendary Sea King to be developed......

Although it has not been officially announced, the SH-3 Sea King is now being considered as a project for developer, Taog. Really made my day when I saw this:

I’m not a heli simmer at all. With the Lama and Alouette III this is slowly changing! Would be cool to see an old piston helicopter too like an S-55 or S-58. I think his next one will be the AS365 Dauphin

I agree with you, the more the better. Regarding the Sea King, if Taog indeed does take on this project, there will be a lot of happy Navy vets for certain. Whenever I post screenshots of carrier op aircraft on the Facebook pages of squadrons I was with, it generates quite a few comments. Sometimes the screenshots are mistaken for real photos, which exhibits the state of present day simulation! Occasionally I am asked, "What "game" is this from? ". That, of course, leads into another conversation about what it takes to get into flight simulation. And flightsimmers are ALWAYS happy to discuss that! . NC
