Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

At long last, the legendary Sea King to be developed......

Oh hell yes, Pete!!! That will be in the hangar for sure. The repaints would/could be amazing. There were sooooo many colorful ones as you well know. Don BP;)

I’m not a heli simmer at all. With the Lama and Alouette III this is slowly changing! Would be cool to see an old piston helicopter too like an S-55 or S-58. I think his next one will be the AS365 Dauphin

I agree with you, the more the better. Regarding the Sea King, if Taog indeed does take on this project, there will be a lot of happy Navy vets for certain. Whenever I post screenshots of carrier op aircraft on the Facebook pages of squadrons I was with, it generates quite a few comments. Sometimes the screenshots are mistaken for real photos, which exhibits the state of present day simulation! Occasionally I am asked, "What "game" is this from? ". That, of course, leads into another conversation about what it takes to get into flight simulation. And flightsimmers are ALWAYS happy to discuss that! šŸ˜‚. NC

YAY !! I have had many happy hours flying in and shooting Sea Kings can't wait for this one even though my helo flying is still s*%t
