The Auster J1 Autocrat has been released on FS2. Thanks to Dave Garwood for allowing me to update this to fully native MSFS2020. The J1 comes in two variants: Original wheeled version w/ 110hp Blackburn Cirrus Major powerplant and 3 liveries, and a tundra tire variant w/ 160hp Lycoming O-320 and 7 liveries. Perhaps the final released aircraft for 2020?

Currently doing a short hop to Hamburg with the DG abominated Tundra Tire version:).
Looks great & flies very nicely.
Also appreciate it has the basic keyboard AP, which gives the eyes a rest on longer flights.
Recommended.

Did a short flight up in Alaska. Excellent modeling and details. A smooth flight but a bit squirrely on landing (probably the pilot, lol).

Really enjoying this little machine!

Just released an update with some minor tweaks and adjustments, including a solid collision mesh for 2024. It still works in both 2020 and 2024 versions: https://flightsim.to/file/84841/auster-j1-autocrat

Livery creators:

I had to do some slight configuration changes to the files for better organization within the 2024 aircraft directory. There is now another hierarchy level, with aircraft organized by Aircraft/creator->Variant->Livery. I don't believe this will affect the liveries created so far, but I haven't tested it yet.

Something else to consider for making liveries: For this aircraft, or any others I've released, please enter "ui_createdby=flyndive" in the aircraft.cfg file for your livery. I suggest adding your name in the livery name for taking proper credit. My intent is not to take credit myself for your work, but if you use your name in the "ui_createdby" attribute, then it will put your livery at the top level of the aircraft selection menu which will muddy things up a bit. Not a big deal really, but I like to keep the aircraft listing simplified.
