Avro Shackleton Sounds

That's the one Ian, but there are two updates at Britsim which will give you separated MR2 and AEW2 with better panels etc etc.

I'm not far enough along with things to design a virtual cockpit (i'm just getting started in Flight Sims again), but if anybody wants any shots of the panels of of a Shackleton MR2/AEW2 (or even the MR1) I can get them.I've also got a lot of the manuals for the aircraft, so performance statistics, C of G tables, control movements and the like are all available. Anybody that wants to - pop along to Coventry airport on a Saturday, and I'll let you heave on the controls of the real thing. Kind regards Rich

Rich, did you check over at Britsim.com? There are screenshots of a wip Shackleton 3 (so who knows what else may be in the pipeling), I'm sure they would be delighted to hear from you.

Andy is correct, Rob Richardson who has turned out some spectacular beasties in FSX like the Sea Venom, Meteor Mk8 and NF14 , Gannet, I could go on and on,.....However Rob has the preliminary work of a Mk3 going for FSX, as a tribute to Gary Jones marvellous Griffon sound file. Feel free to drop by (www.britsim.com) and say hello, he might even be interested in doing a mK2.

Leif

Now where did I put those Viper sounds for the Mk3???
(wicked grin)

I'll pop over and say "Hello" then! Haven't had much chance to go online the past few days, as I've been searching out parts for our aircraft. Just grabbed an hour to check in here and scan my emails! Trying to find 50 year old propeller parts is a pain in the rear end...
Regards, Rich
