Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated Tom Clayton has offered to post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

Awaiting approval for revised FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley

Shalom @mjahn ,

You made this plane?? That is impressive and historic!!! Does this plane have built in failures if flight simmer does not handle engines properly like your famous DC-3s/C-46s and Connies?

Hope all is well with you. Great to hear from you!

Regards,

Aharon

Hi, Aharon. I am afraid it doesn't have the sophisticated failure sensitivity of those other planes. I usually fly by the numbers in the checklist... But, AFAIK there are third-party error modules out there that can be added to any plane, so probably ths one, too. On the Monitor gauge, the RPM values begin to flicker and change color when you go full throttle, but that's about it.

Shalom MJahn,

It is not not not problem. The main reason I asked the question on built-in failures for engines is that I do not want to be caught by surprise if I fly Blackburn Beverly for first time. Do not want to wind up seeing the plane crashing due to wrong engine handlings.

Thanks for answer. And thanks for your WONDERFUL DC-3/C-47 and all AMAZING Connie versions.

Regards,

Aharon

Thanks Manfred and team. I had not seen this one coming, but the update is highly appreciated.

I was running out of cupboard space, so this has come at the right time. šŸ˜‰

I've always liked the Beverley, something quintessentially British & unfashionable, this is a superb model, thank you.

I flew your previous version, thank you for updating it.

Been in the one that used to be at the Army museum in Beverley Hull, look forward to flying the updated version.
