Azurepoly Jaguar will have an external GR1 model, but for now with a French cockpit...also it will initially be FS2024 only.

Azurepoly now say on their FB page
" confirm that we have developed a complete GR1 exterior model with several RAF liveries, all of which will be included in the product. The main exterior differences compared to the Jaguar A are the specific nose and the tail fin. For now, we decided to keep a unique cockpit for both versions as the GR1 has a very different interior with no avionics in common with the A. We will consider a dedicated GR1 cockpit only after the initial release."
So there will be an external GR1, but for now with a French cockpit...also it will initially be FS2024 only.

A Gr.Mk.1 with a French cockpit is a definite no for me.

Only 2024 is a definite no for me.

Hey, I’m happy to just get the GR1 external model. If the cockpit layout’s a little different, not a big deal for me as I won’t be buying a surplus UK Jaguar anytime soon.

FS2024 native is fine with me. SU1 is looking way better, SU2’s proposed list looks to really decrapify the situation. Guessing by late Spring we won’t have much reason to have to go back to FS2020.

I'm in the same boat as Priller, I'm not making the '24 jump until it's delivering what was promised, and the cockpit differences are more than a little:

I like AzurPoly as a developer. If they do a UK cockpit for the GR.1, I'll definitely get it. RAF Coltishall was a big Jaguar base on the northern edge of my home city, and one of them is now a 'gate guardian' at Norfolk County Hall.

Nice...I spent a week at Coltishall as an ATC cadet when it was the Lightning OCU, back in the 70's :)

We did our annual camp there too, in 1973. I was at boarding school in Wymondham, so not far to travel. Lots of Chipmunk flying over the north Norfolk coast. (y)

It looks fantastic, the only thing that looks off to me is the pilot, he looks a bit small/out of scale....or is it just me?

I think so too but luckily not that much. The pilot figure does look very good otherwise as does the Jaguar model itself (love the Fly-By shots in the video ! Why can't we still not have that by just clicking a key ! $%^#$!! ). MSFS2024 now provides correct appearance of protective gauge glass, why AzurPoly leaves that for granted and leaves the delicate needles and pins out in the open to be severly damaged is beyond me... Gauge glass belongs to a gauge just as much as needles do ! ( i know, just a cry in the wilderness.. :distant: )

You are absolutely right, especially as the textures to make a glass for a gauge are not difficult to do ... on the contrary.

Merveilleux et Fantastique !

Practise air display show ? They don't do this for the first time, do they ! Who is the woman voice near the end ? Sa mère ?... ;-)

Thanks Noddy, amazing video ! :encouragement:

Same - that seems to happen very often. It looks like a damn great aircraft, maybe Azurpoly will adjust the pilot by an update...

They're now saying both simulators BTW
"We are proud to bring one of the first native fighter aircraft to Flight Simulator 2024. By leveraging the new features introduced in the sim, we have achieved a level of visual quality beyond anything we have done before. That being said, we decided to prepare a version for MSFS 2020 as we realize that a big part of the community is still flying on this simulator, and that MSFS 2024 will need several months at least to reach a stable state. We plan to release the Jaguar on both simulators and over the same period, for PC and Xbox."

An update from Azurepoly on the 24 version.

@everyone
[JAGUAR] Third-party stores & MSFS 2024

Our Jaguar for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available on two external stores:
- Contrail: https://contrail.shop/collections/azurpoly/products/azurpoly-sepecat-jaguar-msfs-2020-2024
- SimMarket: https://secure.simmarket.com/azurpoly-sepecat-jaguar-msfs2420.phtml

We take the chance to give more details about MSFS 2024.

First, despite some confusion online, this product is fully compatible with FS 2024. After buying it on Contrail or SimMarket, you will be able to install it on both FS 2020 & 2024. If you bought it on the Microsoft Marketplace, you will also be able to fly it in FS 2024, we are currently waiting for Microsoft to make it available in the FS 2024 Marketplace, which can take few days (as usual for any new product).

Secondly, we previously communicated about our native MSFS 2024 Jaguar, which is still under development. This add-on will be a different product, based on the same aircraft, but with a few more features made possible by the new simulator:
- Interactive walk-around actions.
- Better graphic quality (textures, windshield).
- More optimization for performance.
- More realistic hydraulics and fuel systems.
- And a new exclusive weapons systems 🔥, including missile and bomb release, external fuel tank jettison, and a working cannon. All weapons follow realistic trajectories, with smooth animations from the pylon to the impact zone, and accurate visual effects both in-flight and on impact. Please note that the system is purely visual and does not cause actual damage to the environment or other aircraft. Weapons are not shared in multiplayer and cannot aim real targets.

We created a summary table to help everybody better understand what is included or not in each package.
Public price is, for each item, in USD:
- MSFS 2020 Jaguar (compatible with MSFS 2024): $31.99
- Native MSFS 2024 Jaguar: $35.99
- Upgrade to native MSFS 2024 version for MSFS 2020 customers: $4.99

The native Jaguar for FS 2024 is in short final, for a release in a few weeks. We will communicate more about it soon! 🐆
