Beech 17 Resurected!

That's the thing Source materials, the more the better.

And...while you wait for the new one there is a conversion kit in this one so it will work in fsx, clicks in the vc and all, just the prop problems but if you ignore that it flies and runs real nice in fsx.

I have 2 more land versions to do then that's it for the land version.

I finished the Land version of the 17. Now I'm working on the float version. Its allot different then the land version with a different interior and sounds and even air file. In the float version I modeled the air file to emulate the Jacobs engine and not the Wasp junior. They were totally different! So I'm going to release to you guys the land version here pretty quick then the float version after. I still need to do a few tweaks on the air file and clean up a few loose ends on it do a documentation and then build the web page for it and a video, and set up a port over kit for the fsx crew then its all yours forever and forever free!

The hippo will be released in a week then the Beech 17 land version. I will need more time on the floater as it is more to work with.

Many thanks for your efforts, Tom, and I know this will turn out as well if not better than any of the other products you have, which are all great. I liked the Beech 18 so well I bought it only to discover I already had a copy, but you know what - who cares, it's a fine airplane and a superb product, I like having it twice as much now!! Looking forward to seeing the -17 landplane. Thanks for your contribution to everyone's enjoyment.:salute:
 
Hey all, sorry for the little absence there but I just received a commission to build a new hawker hurricane by a local private collector that has a complete all original Hawker hurricane in his hangar. So I was busy for a week crawling all over this awesome old master piece and gathering source I need to make a mega 3 million poly model! LOL! Some guys are just so into this stuff.. haha. I told the guy I need 24 months to complete the model to the specs he wants, and make it flyable on his computer in Fsx... I did it with the Ford( over a million poly model) so I know I can write the script to make a larger model work well. Its gonna be on heck a big year fro me in 2012!!

So.. the Beech 17.. I'm just making the final touches to it then I'm working on the read ma stuff and the pictures and video. Then I will release it.


So land version is done except for the optional super shiny comb your hair in the reflection paints!

She turned out great as well.

WOW, A Hurricane! Sorely needed in FSX, and FS9. Hope he allows you to sell it to the rest of us, also.:mixedsmi:
 
I wanted to build a new one as well so maybe after this one I will build a real good one.

Right now I have 3 real big projects on my plate out side of that job. So I'm very very busy now....

But that's a good thing!
