Beech AT-11 KANSAN Released

Thank you all for your interest in this project over its duration. I started the AT-11 on May 29, 2009 thinking it would be easy to convert the D18S. Wrong! I ended up redoing practically every part in it.

Thanks guys. :)

Thanks for all your warm comments and I hope you get many hours of pleasure from her.

Milton;
I think, without a doubt, "We" should be thanking you!
I do not have the talent or knowledge to do what you do, and am in awe every time I fly one of your planes.
There are "other" plane builders, some are good.. it is my opinion those who are "Very Good" are few in number.
When I look for various planes to fly, I look for names like "Shupe" and "Copley", which seem to dominate in my hanger.
THANK YOU!! For making the Flight Sim Hobby a very enjoyable past-time, instead of the "Arcade Game" it could have been..
Thanks for ALL your efforts, even helping wretches like me.

And that, as they say, just about sums it up. If I may be allowed a pun, Mr Shupe you are a "saint among simmers!

I must say a big THANKS to Milton for the AT-11!

Well, thank you Gentlemen; you are most kind. djs1, lol cute!

There is always more that can be done in our models but the important thing to me is to find a nice blend of balanced simplicity in all the components, and have an enjoyable and flyable flight model. If we can deliver something that is enjoyable to fly and makes you want to keep coming back to it, then we are successful in our journey.

And it's particulary this balance which makes your creations so lovely!

We may drool about the upcoming Prop-Trash Stearman with its super-high-definition load of a million vertices (and it sure looks great!), but I think this will be some kind of (literally!) super-model you could never ever deeply fall in love with. But your aircraft do have this special appeal!

Thank you! :ernae:

Cheers,
Markus.

Yes, and that balance does make your aircraft a joy to fly. Just enough detail, just enough complexity in systems and flight models to give it immersion, yet not impossible to quickly master and not too heavy on frame rates. I've said it before and I'll say it again, your stuff and the offerings of some others equals or exceeds the quality of a lot of payware.
