Beech Baron 58 Sound Pack Deluxe

OBIO

Retired SOH Admin
Earlier today (yesterday I guess it is now) I uploaded a Twin 6 sound pack for planes using horizontally opposed 6 cylinder engines. That package really wasn't a true twin engine sound pack in that the same sound files were used for left and right engines. So, I went ahead and gave the same treatment to the stock Baron 58 sound pack. The stock external sounds are now the internal sounds, and the external sounds have been run through a wav editor to amplify them 3 decibels and to add 6 decibels of bass to the lower frequency range. The result is like night and day when compared to the stock Baron 58 sound package. This sound package will now be what I use on all my twin engined planes using horizontally opposed 6 cylinders: PA-23 Apache, PA-23 Aztec/Nomad, Twin Bonanza, etc.

Will upload the "new" sound pack momentarily....then I am going to bed.

Well, I was going to go to bed an hour ago (2:00 am Ohio time), but I had to let the ferrets out to play for a while. They get an hour and a half out of their cage every day (well, somedays I forget) for exercise, romping and biting my toes (it's not the bite that hurts...it's when they go into their alligator-like death roll and twist....that is when I scream like a little girl!). They have been out for an hour now...half hour to go and then I can go to bed (3:30 am Ohio time).

Have a nice sleep, Tim!

My Dornier 28 D Skyservant (equipped with two Lycoming O-540) is very much looking foreward to your work! :jump:

Cheers,
Markus

Thanks OBIO! Can't wait to try out your Barron/Aztec sounds.

There is nothing like hearing the unmistakable sound of a Piper Aztec flying overhead when outside in the yard with those engines reverberating.
