Yes, that Showcase camera Fly-By-Try was possible in MSFS2020 too. Tried it but the thing is that it's a 'one shot only' fly-by atleast that's all i seem to get out of it. (maybe it's easier to setup via such an Xbox Controller.... it's in one of my still to open 'movingboxes', haven't found it yet...;-) The beauty of a good Fly-By Camera is that it constantly loops the 'fly-by' of the aircraft along it's route and keeps it in view from a set beginning point to a set ending point (for as long as you want of course). Having to set it up each time and then get only *one* fly-by to enjoy is like getting only *one* bite of a delicious dish and then it's taken back to the kitchen...
I'm trying to find a bit of info about the embedded FCR. The UI is not even worthy of its name. There *is* a 'distinctive' button that has 'Fly-By' on its surface but clicking it does (of course) nothing. I know from my earlier tests of FCR Fly-By that it only works during Replay but the button that says 'Replay' does nothing either.. You have to first record something to be able to replay it but i did that, record 2 minutes of flight, but then there's no Replay button to click... Typically rushed out the door without any sort of beta or even alpha test. The search continues while the Fly-By does not...
