Bell P39N of 32nd Squadron Hato Field Curacao March 1944 - Repaint for the simTECH P39D depicting an aircraft of 32nd Squadron,at Hato Field Curacao March 1944

This repaint depicts a Bell P39N Airacobra as flown by First Lieutenant Donald L. Baker from 32FS 36FG in March 1944. 32nd Fighter Squadron was based in the Netherlands West Indies (also known as Dutch Antilles) from March 1942 until March 1944. Their original task was to fly anti-submarines patrols as German U-boats were very active in the Caribbean at that time. The task of chasing German Wolfpacks gave them the nickname Wolfhounds. like the look of this paint a lot but i cant seem to find the simTECH P39D anywhere, am i looking in the wrong place?

Nice one Huub. And Soesterberg is nearly complete if I will quit fiddling with it. It seems there is always a couple more tweaks and additions I can add.

And thanks Stoney for the link. While i don’t generally do WWII AIRCRAFT this repaint is just to nice to pass up as well as being linked via the 32nd to this over the top Soesterberg scenery I have spent the last 6 months on with Huubs’s help

Hi Rohan I'm quite happy with what I have produced so far. So I will most probably never use David Green's paintkit.
